Intro

Hello and welcome.

This document contains Notion templates for task/project management using the PARA system, habit tracking, academic command center, content management with spaced repetition, 5 min journalling, contact management, workout and exercise database, meal prep and grocery shopping and mindfulness resources.

I created this system because I was investing significant time in various tasks and projects with inconsistent end results. I also experienced significant decision fatigue from debating which project to work on or which task(s) to complete.

The goal of this system is to distill high-level goals down into small actionable items, track progress and results easily, and create an environment for easily zoning in on a single project.

Structure

The databases are linked together into one cohesive unit for streamlined productivity. Tasks are in the , projects are in the , and areas are Area (Template) Academics (Template) Learning (Template) and Health (Template).

Tasks are linked to the projects, projects are linked to the areas, and resources are linked back to the projects and areas.

I provide context on each page below with a corresponding template for copying and adding to your own Notion database!

Home Base (Template)

Steps to make the Home Base your own!

  1. Set Goals date
  2. Add a personal impact statement (Your mantra)
  3. Set filter on the to the end date of Goals (E.g. Date (variable) is on or after Jan 1 2020 and Date is on or before Dec 31 2020 for 2020 Goals)
    1. The goals should be your key projects for a set period of time
  4. Edit, add or delete set templates in the Home Base (Template)
  5. Begin entering and editing content from linked databases
